An agent is a person that is appointed under a Personal Care Directive to act in accordance with instructions provided by the person in the Personal Care Directive. 

AGENT

The person whom you have appointed to handle your financial affairs under your Power of Attorney. 

ATTORNEY

IMMEDIATE POWER OF ATTORNEY

A power of attorney that will take place immediately upon execution and the 'attorney' can immediately upon execution and the 'attorney' can immediately upon execution and the 'attorney' can immediately handle all financial affairs for you. If it is possible for you to once again handle your affairs, you are at liberty to do so.  

PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE 

The person whom you appoint in your Will to handle your affairs after your death. During probate of the Will and after, this person will act in accordance with the terms of your will. 

SPRINGING POWER OF ATTORNEY

A power of attorney that will only take place once the person you have directed to do so has determined you incapable of handling your financial affairs.
